Cheap bike rental !

A rental bicycle is a must-have for every student in Kortrijk ! Your bicycle will be your freedom and your primary transport vehicle. As a student you can rent a quality bicycle (with a lock!) for only 6 € per month. If you rent it for 3 months or more, you also get a free maintenance session. Your bicycle will give you excellent mobility, not only in Kortrijk, but also in the countryside which has a well organised network for bicycles with velostrades (= highways for bicycles).

The busses are free !
​
Because of an agreement between the universities of Kortrijk and the bus company ; students can travel for free on all bus lines in and around Kortrijk. Just ask your "free student bus pass" at your university, they will only charge you an administration fee of 15 €.

Cheap Train tickets !

Looking for cheap travel in Belgium? Travel anywhere you want in the country all year round for € 6,20 per trip.
The 'Youth Multi Ticket' is the solution for you and your friends under 26.
It is a 10-journey pass for 62 €. It is transferable and can be used together with your friends.
Don't forget to visit Bruges, Ghent, Ypres, Antwerp or Brussels !

Cheap travel into Europe !

For young people with limited finance there are several possibilities to visit a beautifull European city while they are staying in Kortrijk. You can easily visit Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam for a weekend or even for a daytrip. It would be sad if you did not take that opportunity to travel around. Just find out what is the best way for you to get at your preferred destination. Sometimes busses are cheaper than trains, and carpooling is cheaper than the bus. And sometimes a lowcost flight is cheaper than all the rest. Just check out some of these websites.
